Borussia Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl believes Julian Brandt has taken a step forward this season.
After struggling to nail down a starting berth in his first three seasons at Signal Iduna Park, Brandt has been a regular starter this season, racking up six goals and five assists in 25 games for Dortmund.
“His development has been great. He’s much more stable, robust and present,” Kehl told Ruhr Nachrichten.
“He has always shown in phases that he’s a fantastic player, but now he shows it over a longer period of time.”
Brandt has had a hand in a goal in four of his last five appearances for BVB.
