Jakub Kamiński has quickly settled at 1. FC Köln following his loan move from VfL Wolfsburg, starting the club’s first three competitive games this season and scoring once.
He carried his good form into the international break, chipping in with a goal and an assist in Poland’s 3-1 win over Finland on Sunday.
Speaking after the match, the Polish winger expressed his desire to make his move to the Billy Goats permanent.
“I hope my season goes well and that Köln decide to buy me permanently afterwards,” Kamiński told Bild.
“It’s very different from Wolfsburg. The atmosphere, the people – everyone there is crazy. I like it. Köln is a big club with a great tradition,” he added.
Kamiński will face his parent club, Wolfsburg, in the Bundesliga on Saturday.
