Atalanta goalkeeper Marco Carnesecchi has parted ways with his former agent Augusto Carpeggiani and has decided to rely on Alessandro Lucci.
The 23-year-old goalkeeper has played an influential role in being a showstopper with the Bergamo-based side this season. Courtesy of his performances, the doors of selection to the Italian National Team have opened up for him.
Carnesecchi’s decision to change his agency to World Soccer Agency, Alessandro Lucci’s company, is being closely followed by several Premier League outfits and Juventus. Atalanta are aware of this interest from wealthy clubs and will only consider their first-choice goalie transferable if the amount goes over €40 million.
Marco Carnesecchi made the leap from Cremonese last season to become a crucial member of La Dea’s squad this campaign, which are dreaming of clinching the Europa League after defeating Liverpool in the quarter-finals. He has starred in 24 matches across all competitions this season, keeping seven clean sheets in the Serie A.
