According to Florian Plettenberg, Julian Nagelsmann is interested in the PSG head coach job and could see a possible future with the French side.
After initial discussions, both parties seem impressed. Nagelsmann is open to moving to Paris and PSG president Al-Khelaifi could envision working with the former Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig coach.
The 35-year-old hasn’t been short of offers following his surprise dismissal from Bayern in March. In recent weeks, the German coach has been in talks with both Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur before deciding it wasn’t the right move.
What’s more, former French captain and World Cup winner Thierry Henry is being considered as Nagelsmann’s potential assistant coach. Most recently a coach with the Belgium national team, Henry is said to have already discussed a possible collaboration with Nagelsmann in Paris.
As it stands, there is no agreement as of yet but fresh rounds of talks have been scheduled for the near future.
