Julen Lopetegui is close to taking over at Wolves, according to Marca via Cadena COPE.
Juanma Castaño has reported on ‘El Partidazo de COPE’ that Lopetegui will be the new manager of the Premier League side.
Cadena COPE report that “the Spanish coach will accept the offer from Wolves, who already made him an offer in 2016, after resolving a personal problem”.
On October 5, Sevilla announced the sacking of Lopetegui after their 4-1 Champions League defeat to Borussia Dortmund. Jorge Sampaoli replaced the Basque coach at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán.
On October 12, the BBC reported that Lopeteguí rejected an offer from Wolves.
Where are Wolves in the table?
Wolves are second-bottom in the Premier League with 10 points after 13 games. Leicester City (11 points), Southampton (12), Aston Villa (12) and Leeds (12) are all ahead of them.
