Applications are now open to join the Get German Football News team for the 2025/26 campaign.

We are looking for ambitious and forward-thinking football fans, writers and journalists who are truly passionate about the beautiful game.

We do not require you to necessarily have any prior experience in terms of football writing, nor do we expect an exhaustive knowledge of German football.

We are open to a range of applications from individuals who want to write as a hobby every so often to people who intend to make their name in sports journalism in years to come.

Opportunities currently available at GGFN include roles such as interviewing football personalities, to feature and tactical analysis writers, to breaking summer transfer window stories on the news desk side of the outlet.

An ability to speak German conversationally or fluently will enhance your chances of being accepted onto the team for the upcoming season.
