Jadon Sancho Set to Return to Man Utd, Chelsea Eyeing New Target

Chelsea are reportedly set to end Jadon Sancho’s loan-with-obligation deal at Stamford Bridge and send him back to Manchester United over the summer transfer window – amid reports that the Blues are able to end his loan spell for a £5million fine.

Sancho joined Chelsea on transfer deadline day after the Blues let Raheem Sterling join Arsenal on loan, and after initially impressing in west London, it’s been a tough second half of the campaign for the former Borussia Dortmund man – who looks to be ending his time at Stamford Bridge early.

The Daily Mail states that Sancho looks likely to return to United in the summer after failing to impress at Chelsea throughout the campaign under Enzo Maresca – with the club exploring other options that could bolster their attacking ranks.

The news comes after owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s interview with Gary Neville that sent shockwaves through English football saw him single Sancho out, among others, for being ‘not good enough and overpaid’.
