In a press conference before Dortmund’s Champions League match against Sevilla, Niklas Süle waxed lyrical about coach Edin Terzic and praised the maturity of teammate Jude Bellingham.

Niklas Süle isn’t off to the perfect start at Dortmund with some defensive mistakes and injury issues to start the season. But in his Monday press conference, the defender only had good things to say about manager Edin Terzic:
“I get to know a new experience with Edin again. I’ve never had a coach so tied to a club. Edin is a Dortmund boy and we notice that every day as a team. That he just enjoys working for his childhood club.”

Süle surprisingly started at right-back for BVB in their Der Klassiker draw, but the 27-year-old said he didn’t mind playing a fairly new position against his old teammates:

“I have already played the position of right-back a few times, so I wasn’t completely in new territory. I also knew my opponents quite well. I think I showed the coach that I can always be an alternative.”

On wonderkid Jude Bellingham, Süle hilariously added that, “He’s very good for his age. I’ve never seen a 19-year-old where you have the feeling that he could have three kids at home. He’s someone going ahead.”
