What’s next for Borussia Dortmund?

Dortmund and Frankfurt are reportedly the favorites to sign Lecce captain and midfielder Morten Hjulmand. According to the ‘Gazzetta dello Sport’, the Serie A side are now asking for at least €20 million.

A Copenhagen youth product, Hjulmand’s stock has skyrocketed since his move to Italy in 2021. After helping Lecce gain promotion to the top flight, the 23-year-old is now able to show his quality to a wider audience.

Hjulmand’s contract expires in 2024, but a potential move to Germany is not likely to transpire until next summer.
