Hertha BSC claimed their first Bundesliga win of the season, beating Augsburg 2-0 away from home on Sunday afternoon.
Speaking after the game, Hertha coach Sandro Schwarz said he believed the win was deserved.
“I think that it was a very intense game. We got into the game immediately and had good defensive structure. After going ahead, the run of play was in our favor still. It was a deserved win,” said Schwarz and added:
“We didn’t want to be praised for our performance without getting anything out of the game again. I am pleased that we showed the right attitude and were reward for that.”
