Inter willing to open negotiations with La Liga side Atletico Madrid for Alvaro Morata.
According to a report by Corriere Della Serra, Inter have decided to meet with Alvaro Morata’s present club Atletico Madrid in the next few days to understand their demands and materialise a transfer.
The Nerazzurri officials met with the 30-year-old’s agent Juanma López and lawyer Giuseppe Bozzo yesterday evening to discuss personal terms.
Contacts between the two clubs are expected today as the Serie A side will attempt to negotiate an offer of €15 million to be paid in three years. Los Colchoneros currently have a €21 million release clause on Morata but that could become around €12 million if they submit the new contract.
With the deal to sell Andre Onana to Manchester United practically done for around €50 million, Inter have the required financial resources to sign a striker as a replacement for Romelu Lukaku.
