Inter are keen on the possibility of signing Atletico Madrid’s Alvaro Morata and they are set to make an offer soon.
Corriere della Sera today state that Simone Inzaghi wants a more experienced striker than Folarin Balogun, for whom Arsenal want over €50 million this summer. As a result, Inter have now decided to challenge Roma for Morata, whose agent met Giallorossi sporting director Tiago Pinto yesterday.
The Spaniard wants to earn €5 million per season at his next club, with Atletico Madrid continuing to ask for €21 million despite the fact that a new contract will have a release clause of €12 million. Roma are yet to make a decision, leaving Inter with an opening. The Nerazzurri will soon make a €15 million offer for the striker.
The Nerazzurri have given up on Romelu Lukaku, who trained alone in London with Chelsea yesterday as he continues to wait for an approach from Juventus and has given them the word about a move.
