Inter Milan eye January move for Valencia sensation Yunus Musah

Inter Milan are targeting a move for Valencia’s teenage midfielder Yunus Musah in the January transfer window, reports La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The 19-year-old is considered the next in the long line of talented prospects to come out of the United States as well as Valencia’s famed youth academy.

Musah has become an integral part of Gennaro Gattuso’s side in La Liga, producing some excellent performances this season.

Having racked up two assists in 11 games in La Liga, the former Arsenal academy graduate has also earned a call-up to the USMNT for the World Cup 2022.

His name is on the radar of top European clubs including Inter, who are determined to sign him.

Valencia’s financial crisis led to the departures of a handful of talented players over the last few years, and the trend is expected to continue.

Musah could be tempted to take the next big step in his career, and the World Cup in Qatar will be another opportunity to showcase his talent.

The valuation is said to be around €20 million, but it could go up if he makes a good impression during the World Cup.

The Nerazzurri are looking to add Musah to their midfield talent pool which contains Kristjan Asllani, Nicolo Barella, Valentin Carboni and Giovanni Fabian.

Simone Inzaghi’s side are also keeping tabs on another Valencia talent Jesus Vazquez as a potential replacement for Robin Gosens, who has been heavily linked with an exit from San Siro.

The German left-back is wanted by a host of German clubs, including Eintracht Frankfurt, Borussia Monchengladbach, Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen.
