A little over a week ago, Bayern Munich were linked with Chilean centre-half Felipe Loyola.
Rumours of a transfer fee in the region of €20million we’re being discussed in the media.
However, Independiente president Néstor Grindetti has recently dismissed this information.
“There are no negotiations with Bayern Munich for Felipe Loyola at all,” Grindetti said on Radio La Red, based in Buenos Aires.
“There has been no contact, not even informal. I heard there were people from Bayern Munich ‘hanging around’, but they didn’t say anything,” he explained.
