Borussia Mönchengladbach midfielder Florian Neuhaus has taken a self-critical look back at the 2021/22 season, which saw him come in and out of the team.
“The past season was not satisfactory for all of us, and I absolutely include myself in that,” Neuhaus told Kicker about Gladbach’s 10th-place finish.
“I know that I can do better, but I don’t think everything was bad, because things went quite well in some phases.
“I want to bring the quality I have back onto the pitch in full. I wasn’t able to consistently perform well last season, and I want to change that.”
The central midfielder has made it clear that he will stay at the club this summer following the appointment of Daniel Farke as new head coach.
