Nico Schlotterbeck played the entire 90 minutes in Borussia Dortmund’s win over Wolfsburg. The center-back was absent for nearly half a year after suffering a serious injury last season.
“I’ve worked hard for six months,” said Schlotterbeck in an interview with DAZN after the game. “Of course, the reaction from the fans was very beautiful.”
Schlotterbeck missed the Nations League final phase and the Club World Cup due to the injury. Dortmund secured their third league win on the trot with the solitary strike coming from Karim Adeyemi.
