Niclas Füllkrug has revealed that his future with Werder Bremen is completely up in the air.

Niclas Füllkrug has admitted that he doesn’t know if he will sign a contract extension with Werder Bremen.
It was recently reported that the 30-year-old forward had turned down an initial offer from Werder to extend his contract beyond 2025.
And speaking to Deichstube after Werder’s 3-1 friendly win over VfB Oldenburg, Füllkrug admitted that he doesn’t know if he and the club will ultimately come to an agreement.
“It goes back and forth, it’s crazy. There were days when we were closer and then days when we were further apart,” said Füllkrug.
“It’s all a process. I don’t know where it will lead in the end. I can only say this so honestly because I’m always a friend of honesty.
With a contract that runs until 2025, Füllkrug doesn’t want to rush the decision.
“I still have a contract here, so I don’t need a specific deadline. I’m completely relaxed about it. Werder is still a club that means a lot to me and is a good option for me,” he emphasized.
