Borussia Dortmund veteran Mats Hummels is not thinking too far ahead when it comes to his future.
Asked about the possibility of extending his contract, which expires at the end of the season, the 34-year-old told reporters at a press conference on Monday:
“I am going to keep this open for a very long time. I’m really enjoying things at the moment.
“It’s fun right now and I’m happy that I can still play despite my age. It’s a cliché, but time will tell,” he added.
Hummels has made 15 appearances for Dortmund this season, scoring two goals.
