According to Fabrizio Romano, Hugo Ekitiké (22) is waiting until the end of the season before making a decision on his Eintracht Frankfurt future amid interest from several clubs. The Bundesliga club can still qualify for the UEFA Champions League, and this remains the striker’s focus despite the ongoing speculation about his future.
Ekitiké has attracted the interest from several clubs across the continent, most notably Liverpool and Arsenal, Christian Falk reports. Clubs from the Premier League have already approached the former PSG forward’s representatives to understand the conditions of a potential move in the summer transfer window.
Despite the 22-year-old’s aim to remain focused on the end of the season with Frankfurt, he is expected to leave the club at the end of the season. Ekitiké has impressed for the German outfit this term; he has scored 15 goals and registered 7 assists in 31 Bundesliga appearances. These displays have seen him valued at €100m.
