Sky Germany reports that PSG’s Hugo Ekitike and Montpellier’s Elye Wahi are potential candidates to replace Randal Kolo Muani at Eintracht Frankfurt.
At the end of the last week, it was reported that Kolo Muani has informed Frankfurt that he wants to leave the club this summer amid interest from PSG. Frankfurt are holding firm in their valuation of the striker and are demanding €100m + add-ons and without any sort of swap deal.
Frankfurt have begun to look for replacements for the 24-year-old. It has previously been reported that Frankfurt have already held talks with Montpellier’s Wahi and the club have proposed a project that the 20-year-old will be central to. However, the striker has attracted interest from Premier League clubs such as Chelsea and Tottenham.
PSG’s Ekitike is also an option to replace Kolo Muani, as it is likely that the arrival of Kolo Muani will cause Ekitike to drop down the pecking order at the Parisian club.
There are several other unnamed candidates that could replace Kolo Muani but Werder Bremen’s Niclas Füllkrug is not one of them.
