RMC Sport report that PSG have communicated to Marco Verratti, Neymar, and Renato Sanches, who is reportedly a target for Roma, that they are not considered a part of the team’s future plans.
Recent speculation was fueled when Verratti and Neymar trained separately, due to a reported virus. Nevertheless, French sources now confirm that coach Luis Enrique and sporting director Luis Campos held personal meetings with the pair, clarifying that they are not in the team’s immediate plans and should seek new clubs for the upcoming season.
Neymar already wanted to depart Paris this summer, even though he has a lucrative contract until 2027. According to ED, PSG notified teams in June that he could be acquired for €150m, or they’d consider a transfer to alleviate his substantial €35m per season salary.
Barcelona, Chelsea and Saudi Arabian clubs have been linked with the 31-year-old in recent weeks.
