Hoffenheim confirm first summer signing

TSG Hoffenheim have completed their first signing ahead of the 2023/24 season with the arrival of Julian Justvan from SC Paderborn.

The 25-year-old winger has put pen to paper on a contract with the Bundesliga outfit until 2027.

“Julian has made a name for himself with strong performances in the second division at SC Paderborn. He is very fast, technically strong and his goal scoring rate is outstanding for his position,” said Hoffenheim’s director of professional football, Alexander Rosen.

Justvan, who scored seven goals and added 10 assists in 37 games last season, commented:

“After three years at SC Paderborn, I am now eager to take the next step in my career and am ready to take on this great sporting challenge.

“I want to prove myself in the Bundesliga and in many ways I see the best conditions here in Hoffenheim to further my sporting development.”
