TSG Hoffenheim have announced a new contract for Germany U21 international Maximilian Beier.

The highly-rated forward’s contract has been extended from 2025 to 2027.

“Maxi is currently one of the shooting stars of German football and we are delighted that we have been able to make a ground-breaking decision together with him for his further sporting career at TSG and extend his contract early by a further two years,” said Hoffenheim chief executive Alexander Rosen.

“He has matured from an academy player to a professional at TSG and is thus another prime example of the Hoffenheim way.

“With his unbelievable commitment, as well as his courageous and extremely refreshing style of play, he has a great future ahead of him.”

Beier has started the season in scintillating form, scoring six goals in nine Bundesliga appearances.

His impressive form has seen him linked with Liverpool, Everton and Brentford.
