Fighting for their very lives, the newly installed Hertha BSC personnel team are scrambling hard to get new bodies over to the Charlottenburg quarter of the German capital. Sky Germany, in a report confirmed by other German media outlets, claims that Benjamin Weber and his team are trying to land a solid midfield six in the form of Leverkusen’s Kerem Demirbay.
A short-term loan-out is apparently being discussed. Demirbay does play a significant role for his current team, contributing three league goals during 15 appearances for die Werkself this season. Leverkusen trainer Xabi Alonso nevertheless maintains plenty of options at the six-slot. Bayer may be willing to allow their long-time player to depart.
