It appears an agreement has been reached by both clubs with the official announcement to follow in the coming days.
Backing up BILD’s report last Tuesday, July 15, Werder Bremen’s Dawid Kownacki is on the verge of joining Hertha BSC.
Sky Germany can confirm that the Polish striker will join the German capital club in loan with an obligatory purchase next summer.
Advanced negotiations have since taken place and the 2.Bundesliga side have reached an agreement with Bremen.
Kownacki joined Die Werderaner on a free transfer in the summer of 2023 but failed to find his feet, making just 22 appearances.
He rediscovered some form last season on loan at Fortuna Düsseldorf, where he provided 13 goals and 4 assists across 29 games.
