Irrespective of what German footballing journalist Georg Holzner reported earlier today, Mathys Tel’s agent has phoned up Florian Plettenberg of Sky Germany to let him know that his client has no intention of accepting a move elsewhere. Plettenberg published the comments of Tel’s agent, Gadiri Camara, on twitter Thursday afternoon.

“A loan is not an option for us,” Camara is quoted as saying, “Mathys wishes to stay and improve. Our position is clear. Mathys wants to be one of the best. With all due respect, he doesn’t care who comes [after him] this summer. He’s ready to challenge [for a starting spot]. He loves Bayern and I believe Bayern loves him too.”
