According to Kicker, Hannes Wolf could miss the rest of 2022 after suffering a torn labrum in his shoulder joint in Saturday’s 3-0 victory over RB Leipzig.
“Hannes is still currently seeing a specialist for a detail prognosis,” Gladbach coach Daniel Farke stated today.
“After that, we’ll have to see whether he needs surgery or not. Even if he doesn’t require surgery, he will be out for a number of weeks.”
Alassane Plea (muscle fibre tear in the adductor area), Florian Neuhaus (partial ligament damage in the right knee), Ko Itakura (partial ligament damage in the left knee) and Tobias Sippel (shoulder joint damage) are also absent due to injury.
