A small contingent of Barcelona supporters were responsible for a frankly disgusting chant, aimed at Real Madrid star Vinícius Jr, on Tuesday night.
Barca, of course, are currently locked in action, on the continent.
Putting the club’s European campaign on the line, Xavi’s troops have welcomed Italian champions Napoli to Catalunya’s capital, for the 2nd leg of the Champions League Last-16 tie between the clubs.
On such a pivotal night for Barcelona’s season as a whole, the club’s fans have made their presence very much felt, answering the call of head coach Xavi to create a ‘pressure cooker’ environment at Montjuïc.
As alluded to above, though, prior to proceedings getting underway on Tuesday, one small section of the Blaugrana faithful took things a step too far.
As revealed by Carrusel Deportivo, the supporters in question were heard taking firm aim at Real Madrid wide-man Vinícius Jr, courtesy of completely inexcusable chants of:
‘Vinícius, die! Vinícius die!’
