Werder Bremen are monitoring Hamburger SV striker Robert Glatzel, who is seen as a possible replacement for Niclas Füllkrug, according to Sport Bild.
Füllkrug, who leads the Bundesliga scoring charts with 16 goals this season, has been heavily linked with a summer exit.
According to Sport Bild, Eintracht Frankfurt recently showed interest in the 30-year-old, but deemed him too expensive.
However, a transfer is still likely, with the Premier League considered the most realistic destination.
If Füllkrug is indeed on his way out, Glatzel could be his replacement. The 29-year-old has been in fine goalscoring form for Hamburger SV this season, netting 17 times in 27 appearances in the 2. Bundesliga.
