Sport Bild recently reported that Manchester United want to sign Gladbach goalkeeper Yann Sommer in the winter.
But Gladbach sporting director Roland Virkus has no plans of selling Sommer in January even if the veteran’s contract expires at the end of the season.
“I’d like to emphasize that we are in good talks with him. When he comes back after the World Cup vacation, we will sit down together again,” Virkus told Bild.
“From our point of view, a transfer for Yann in the winter is not a topic at all.”
