Borussia Mönchengladbach are seeking to extend Florian Neuhaus’ contract beyond 2024, sporting director Roland Virkus confirmed after yesterday’s 1-0 Bundesliga loss to Union Berlin.
“We are currently in talks with him and his agent,” Virkus told DAZN in a post-match interview.
“He could be a player for the future. Someone who can help form the axis with us.”
Gladbach signed Neuhaus from 1860 Munich in the summer of 2017. Since then, he has made 168 appearances, scoring 22 goals and providing 24 assists.
