Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea are reportedly hopeful of agreeing a deal for Jamie Gittens swiftly.
Chelsea are reportedly closing in on the signing of Borussia Dortmund’s Jamie Gittens.
According to David Ornstein of The Athletic, the 20-year-old’s move could be “done imminently,” with hopes that an agreement will be reached “swiftly.”
Gittens and Chelsea are said to have agreed on a seven-year contract.
It’s recently been reported that Dortmund would allow Gittens to leave for a fee around €65 million.
The Blues previously tried to sign Gittens before the Club World Cup, but were unable to agree on a transfer fee with Dortmund at that time.
Bayern Munich recently entered the race for the English youngster, but it appears they arrived too late.
