Sky Germany reports that Giovanni Reyna is unhappy with his playing time at Borussia Dortmund and is planning a potential departure away from the club.
Reyna’s contract at Dortmund runs until 2025 and he has recently changed agent. Marseille, Sevilla and Real Sociedad have all shown interest in Reyna. However, Dortmund are demanding around €15-20m for the American.
With the arrival of Jadon Sancho, Reyna is likely to be pushed further down the pecking order at Dortmund as he struggled to get onto the pitch in the first half of the season only making a total of 12 appearances with two starts.
After a handful of good performances last season, every time Reyna has been called upon this season he has never given reason to be justified of a start. In one of his starts against Eintracht Frankfurt this season, the 21-year-old was hauled off at half-time after being rather absent in the first half.
Whilst the performances of Jamie Bynoe-Gittens have warranted the Englishmen leapfrogging Reyna in the pecking order.
