Serie A side Genoa seem set to have sealed probably the most intriguing signing of the January transfer window in Italy, as they are on the verge of landing Marseille’s Vitinha.
Gianluca di Marzio has confirmed that the 23-year-old striker will arrive in Italy soon ahead of a move to Genoa, who have accelerated their talks and contacts recently. Recent contacts have been positive, with the player set to undergo a medical tomorrow ahead of a switch to the Rossoblu.
Ruslan Malinovskyi will also join the club on a permanent basis, thereby ending the loan stint. Vitinha, as a result, joins on an initial loan deal but Genoa have an option to buy at €25 million. The last few details of the move are being finalised, but they will soon be sealed.
