Real Madrid legend Gareth Bale has on Friday backed a headline member of the club’s current attacking ranks to stand out above all others in the Champions League final.
Real, of course, are currently in the thick of preparations for their final outing of the campaign.
After battling their way beyond the likes of Manchester City and Bayern Munich, Carlo Ancelotti’s troops will lock horns with Borussia Dortmund on Saturday night, with the title of European football’s best on the line.
The Blancos faithful will be hopeful of their side’s star performers stepping up to the plate on the biggest stage once more, in search of a record-extending 15th Champions League crown.
And, on Friday, the aforementioned Gareth Bale has tipped one such player to prove himself the star of the show.
Himself no stranger to Champions League final heroics, former wide-man Bale was asked for his prediction for the Man of the Match in tomorrow’s Wembley showpiece.
And Bale did not hesitate in backing Vinícius Jr. to carry his stellar recent form through the full-time whistle against Borussia Dortmund:
