Fulham willing to sell João Palhinha to Bayern Munich for a lower price

As reported by Florian Plettenberg, Fulham would be willing to sell João Palhinha to Bayern Munich this winter for a lower price than the German club previously offered last summer.

Despite the Portuguese international passing a medical for Die Rekordmeister, they were unable to capture the signing of Palhinha during the final hours of the transfer window last summer. As previously reported, Fulham’s failure to land a replacement for the 28-year-old scuppered the potential move.

However, fresh reports now suggest that Fulham would be willing to part with the midfielder for a fee lower than the €60m-€65m that was previously offered.

This may be down to the Premier League’s side current position in the table and the need to bring in further reinforcements over several positions. Anything around the €50m mark would go a long way in helping strengthen the overall squad at Fulham.

Palhinha remains on Bayern’s potential transfer list for this winter, however, the topic around salary and transfer fee is the big question mark surrounding the deal.

Currently, there have been no talks between both parties.
