Fulham have identified Arsenal playmaker Emile Smith Rowe as one of their summer transfer priorities, according to the Telegraph.
The 23-year-old has struggled for regular first-team football over the past two seasons with the Gunners under manager Mikel Arteta.
Smith Rowe has managed just over 700 minutes during his period, and he could move on this summer.
Fulham are reportedly interested in signing him to bolster their attack as they look to build on their mid-table finishes.
Smith Rowe is likely to leave Arsenal this summer
Smith Rowe was once regarded as one of the best talents from the academy. He was a key player at the start of Arteta’s managerial reign.
However, the Englishman was displaced from the starting line-up when Gabriel Martinelli nailed down the left-wing role.
Smith Rowe has since fallen down the pecking order with the extra competition for places.
The signings of Leandro Trossard and Kai Havertz have further limited his chances of breaking into the starting XI.
Arteta said that Smith Rowe was ‘a joy to watch‘ against Luton Town earlier this year, but he may not be at the club beyond the summer.
Arsenal are likely to recoup funds from player sales to boost their spending power.
Smith Rowe would represent pure profit for them when it comes to Profitability and Sustainability Rules as he came through the ranks.
The club rejected a £30 million bid from Aston Villa for him three years ago, but they are unlikely to turn down a similar proposal this time.
