According to Christopher Michel of Germany’s Sport1, Eintracht Frankfurt are actually considering two former Bundesliga players in their quest to add defensive reinforcements.

In addition to considering bringing former FC Augsburg left-back Philipp Max back to the Bundesliga, Eintracht Frankfurt are reportedly also taking a look at former FSV Mainz mainstay Jeremiah St. Juste. This is according to Sport1 reporter Christopher Michel. The 26-year-old Dutch center halve just left German football this summer, signing for Sporting CP after spending three seasons in the Pfälzer capital.
Michel notes that a loan is under discussion. St. Juste cost the Portuguese side a reported €9.5 million to acquire this offseason and the play is estimated to be worth about €13 million now. This is almost certainly too rich for Frankfurt’s blood. St. Juste has made regular appearances for his new side, but hasn’t played the full 90 minutes for Rúben Amorim’s Leões yet.
Philipp Max + Mr. X?
