Jean-Clair Todibo (23) is a doubt for France’s Euro 2024 qualifier against Greece on Tuesday night after sustaining a quadriceps injury.
Todibo started for Les Bleus in Saturday’s historic 14-0 victory over Gibraltar. The former Barcelona centre-back was not troubled on the night. With Didier Deschamps wanting to get a good look at Todibo before the Euros, there was a good chance that the OGC Nice defender would have started against on Tuesday.
Todibo a doubt to face Toulouse?
However, as reported by L’Équipe, Todibo is now a doubt for the game after suffering a quadriceps injury. One source has stated that the defender has had to withdraw from the squad. With Todibo potentially absent, William Saliba and Axel Disasi look set to get the nod at the heart of France’s defence. Both are currently on the fringes of the squad and will therefore look to make a strong impression against Greece with just one more international break before the Euros.
Todibo is also a doubt to face Toulouse FC. It will be a blow for Farioli, with Todibo having started all but one game for Les Aiglons so far this season.
