German broadcaster “Sport1” reports that Eintracht Frankfurt have added Feyenoord trainer Arend Martijn Slot to their list of potential head-coaching candidates to lead the team next season.

Alongside Dino Toppmöller and Matthias Jaissle, Eintracht Frankfurt are reportedly also considering bringing in Dutch trainer Arend Martijn Slot to work the SGE bench next season after Oliver Glasner departs. This is according to a report from German broadcaster Sport1, which claims that the RheinMain club like the modern tactical methods of the coach of the current Dutch league leaders.
Slot has awakened interest in the Bundesrepublik after his successful stint in charge of AZ Alkmaar. Despite being sacked by the first Erdevisie club he was charged with leading, Slot was among the most successful trainers in AZ’s history. Slot earned “Erdevisie coach-of-the-year” honors after leading Feyenoord to a third-place finish. He’s on course to capture the crown with the Rotterdam club this year.
