Sevilla have on Sunday closed a deal to sign midfielder Hannibal Mejbri from Premier League giants Manchester United.
And, late this evening, the finer details of the agreement struck between the two clubs have come to the fore.
The info comes courtesy of transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who has revealed that Hannibal has made the move to Andalusia on loan for the remainder of the campaign.
The Sevilla brass will then have the option of making his arrival permanent in the summer, for a fee in the region of €20 million.
Perhaps most significant of all, though, is the fact that Manchester United have not secured a buyback clause for Hannibal.
This comes in stark contrast to reports of recent days, which assured that the Red Devils would not part with their talented young midfielder without keeping control of his long-term future.
But as much has indeed proven to be the case, with Hannibal primed to travel to Spain, to undergo a medical and put pen to paper on terms with Sevilla, later tonight.
