FC Köln appear to have finally found the man to take over as head coach from Steffen Baumgart, who left the position in December.
According to Sky Germany, 46-year-old Timo Schultz will take over with immediate effect after introducing himself to the team.
Schultz most recently coached FC Basel in Switzerland and has also been in charge of 2. Bundesliga side St. Pauli in the past.
FC Köln face an uphill battle heading into the second half of the season, sitting 17th in the table and unable to sign any new players due to a transfer ban imposed by FIFA.
