Apparently, FC Köln managed to get a deal over the line shortly before the transfer window closed yesterday, with Nikola Soldo joining from Lokomotiva Zagreb.

FC Köln have confirmed the signing of 21-year-old centre-back Nikola Soldo from Lokomotiva Zagreb.
The young defender signed a contract until 2025 with ‘The Billy Goats’ shortly before the transfer window closed.
“Due our injury-related absences, we decided to once again act on the transfer market. With Nikola, we have found a good option for our defense,” said FC Köln managing director Christian Keller.
“He is technically strong, robust and comes to us with game rhythm. Of course, the move to the Bundesliga means a leap for Nikola. We definitely trust him to make that leap.”
