Gladbach coach Daniel Farke doesn’t attach too much importance to a report from France claiming that Yann Sommer has agreed to join OGC Nice.
“The rumor mill is always churning at this level,” Farke told reporters.
“I had alleged agreements with many clubs as a coach in the past, and it was never an issue. You don’t have to be believe everything,” added Farke, who still expects the 33-year-old goalkeeper to stay.
“I’m glad that Yann Sommer will be joining us in the middle of next week. He is an outstanding goalkeeper and a great guy, a shining light for Borussia. It’s important that we have him in our group.”
