Arsenal have been linked with a move to sign Real Madrid winger Rodrygo ahead of the summer transfer window, and Fabrizio Romano has discussed his future. Writing in his exclusive GIVEMESPORT newsletter, Romano has suggested that his situation has not been decided yet.
Arsenal are likely to be in the market for new forward additions when the window opens shortly. The Gunners will need fresh additions if they want to avoid another trophyless campaign.
Rodrygo could be a player on the move this summer, with Carlo Ancelotti’s men having plenty of options in attack. The addition of Kylian Mbappe at the beginning of the season has meant Rodrygo has struggled for game time, so there’s a chance he could seek a departure.

Fabrizio Romano: Update on Rodrygo’s Future
Arsenal and Liverpool have been linked
Writing in his exclusive GIVEMESPORT newsletter, Romano has shared what he’s now hearing on Rodrygo’s future at Real Madrid, confirming that nothing has been decided. The respected journalist adds that there are still steps and decisions to make, despite links to Arsenal and Liverpool…
“The Rodrygo situation is not decided at this stage. So despite links, there are still steps and decisions to make.”
Reports have suggested that both Arsenal and Liverpool are interested in signing Rodrygo in the summer transfer window. Football Insider have claimed that Madrid could demand in the region of £85m to allow him to depart, which could deter potential suitors.
GIVEMESPORT sources recently confirmed that Liverpool’s interest in signing Rodrygo is ‘real’, and they were especially keen before Mohamed Salah signed a new deal. It’s understood that despite Salah putting pen to paper, the Merseyside club remain keen, especially with Harvey Elliott and Darwin Nunez potentially heading through the exit door in the summer transfer window.
