Fabrizio Corona’s source on allegations about Roma’s Nicola Zalewski: “The information is false.”

The alleged source of paparazzi Fabrizio Corona has revealed that the information about Nicola Zalewski’s involvement in the betting scandal was false and it wasn’t true.

Zalewski was accused of being involved in the scandal by Corona, but the player’s entourage was considering taking legal action and the authorities hadn’t opened any investigations in the Poland international’s case.

But recently, a man who claimed to be Corona’s source, appeared with his face covered up on the Cerebrus podcast (via La Gazzetta dello Sport) and he revealed some details about the accusations surrounding Zalewski, stating that the claims were false and the information about the Roma star is fake.

“The information is false, I have no proof, I’m speaking completely nonsense. What was I hoping for? He told me that we would meet in Rome and talk about the compensation, 20 thousand euros for information. I accepted because I was in economic difficulty. But I understood that it is immoral.”

While there remains no evidence to prove that the man involved was indeed Corona’s source but the fact that authorities haven’t opened up any investigations into the case of the 21-year-old might suggest that the information about Zalewski might indeed not be true.

It has been previously reported that the Corona’s source is the uncle of a player from Jose Mourinho’s Inter stint and he is also close to Mario Balotelli.
