Montréal Adds DP Attacker
CF Montréal have signed Spanish attacker Iván Jaime on loan from FC Porto. The loan will run until next summer, and includes a purchase option.
Jaime, 24, has made 44 appearances for Porto, scoring five goals and registering two assists. He spent the second half of last season on loan at Valencia, where he made 10 appearances.
Dynamo Sign Mali International
Houston Dynamo are signing Mali international midfielder Diadié Samassékou, sources tell GIVEMESPORT. Samassékou, 29, was previously with Hoffenheim and Salzburg, but was a free agent this summer.
Samassékou has 42 caps with Mali, and has made 87 Bundesliga appearances.
Cincinnati Seal Deal for Marczuk
FC Cincinnati sealed a deal for Dominik Marczuk from Real Salt Lake ahead of the deadline last night. The Deal is a loan through the end of the season. RSL receives a 1st round SuperDraft pick in return
No deal has been agreed yet. Marczuk, 21, hasn’t started for RSL since May.
Minnesota Adding Defensive Depth
Minnesota United are finalizing a deal to sign Greek defender Nectarios Triantis from Sunderland, sources tell GIVEMESPORT. Triantis, 22, spent last year on loan at Hibernian in Scotland.
Cincinnati Bring Back Brenner
FC Cincinnati have agreed a shock deal to re-sign Brazilian forward Brenner on loan from Udinese and are working to finalize the signing ahead of Thursday night’s MLS transfer window deadline, sources tell GIVEMESPORT.
Brenner would join on an initial loan until the winter with a purchase option in the winter, sources add. He would hit the club as a TAM-signing for 2025 while on loan.
Brenner, 25, spent two and a half years with Cincy from 2021-23 before joining Udinese for over $11 million in July 2023. He was acquired in 2021 on a then-club-record fee from Sao Paulo.
The Brazilian forward has only made 19 appearances in all competitions for Udinese, scoring two goals and registering two assists.
Brenner had a career-best 2022 season with 18 goals and six assists, leading the club to the playoffs in a pyrotechnic attack with Lucho Acosta and Brandon Vazquez.
Minnesota Adding Another Attacker
Minnesota United are nearing a deal to sign Paraguay youth international winger Alexis Fariña from Cerro Porteño, sources tell GIVEMESPORT.
The deal would be loan with purchase option, sources add. Fariña, 20, has one goal and five assists in 800 mins this season.
Montréal Trade for Defender
CF Montréal have acquired defender Bode Hidalgo from Real Salt Lake, sources tell GIVEMESPORT. RSL will receive up to $350,000 in GAM ($200k + $150k add-ons) and will retain a sell-on clause, sources add
Hidalgo, 23, has made 90 first-team appearances for RSL after coming up through their academy.
LAFC Signing Irish Midfielder
LAFC are finalizing a deal to sign Ireland international midfielder Andrew Moran from Brighton, sources tell GIVEMESPORT. The deal is a loan until January and includes a purchase option.
Moran, 21, joins LAFC via the U-22 initiative. He spent the first half of last season with Stoke City before returning to Brighton to play with the U21s.
Nashville Make Perez Deal Permanent
Nashville SC are signing on-loan winger Jonathan Perez to a permanent deal from the
Los Angeles Galaxy, sources tell GIVEMESPORT.
Galaxy will receive $1.5 million in a cash trade for Perez + $300,000 in add-ons. Perez will sign a new U-22 initiative deal. Perez, 22, has 29 appearances with Nashville after joining on loan last year.
Minnesota Reject Bid for Pereyra
Minnesota United will turn down $8 million bid for Joaquin Pereyra from Turkish club Trabzonspor, sources tell GIVEMESPORT.
Minnesota do not want to lose Pereyra with no time to replace him this summer. Pereyra, 26, has three goals and nine assists in 26 appearances for the Loons this season.
