According to Bild, Eintracht Frankfurt defender Evan Ndicka can imagine staying at the club despite his contract expiring in the summer.
The 23-year-old has already let sporting director Markus Krösche know that he would be open to staying. There is currently an offer of a contract until 2026 still on the table for Ndicka but the problem for Frankfurt is that Ndicka’s agents are the ones pushing for a move. If Ndicka is to move club then they are likely to receive a higher agent fee.
His agents were recently in Rome discussing a potential transfer to the Italian capital for the 23-year-old. Arsenal, Barcelona and Juventus have all previously shown interest in Ndicka.
Any decision on Ndicka’s future will be made at the end of the season as the 23-year-old wants to focus on the end of the season and the DFB Pokal final against RB Leipzig.
If Ndicka leaves, Frankfurt have already signed a backup option in William Pacho who will join from Royal Antwerp in the summer. If the Frenchman stays, Frankfurt will still aim to bring in another top centre-back.
