BILD are reporting that Eintracht Frankfurt have submitted an offer to sign Swedish talent Lucas Bergvall (17) from Djurgårdens IF, with the Bundesliga side currently in pole position.
Eintracht have made an offer of €8.5m, €2m than what Barcelona have reportedly offered, with several other top international clubs chasing the signing of Bergvall. It’s also a market that Markus Krösche and the SGE recruitment team know well, having signed Hugo Larsson (19) from Malmö FF in the summer.
With a contract at Djurgårdens until 2025, Bergvall would likely join Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer, but Eintracht are trying to reach an agreement quickly to avoid missing out on the central midfielder, who was born in 2006.
Who is Lucas Bergvall?
Bergvall has attracted the attention of some of Europe’s top teams and is considered one of the best U18 talents. The 17-year-old played 25 games last season, which runs from April to November 2023 in Sweden- he also scored two and created one. According to Transfermarkt, Bergvall has a market value of €5m.
