Eintracht Frankfurt is apparently stepping on the gas in their pursuit of Sidiki Chérif, according to Sacha Tavolieri.
It is also believed that the Bundesliga club has submitted a second offer for the young striker from SCO Angers.
After initially offering a loan with an obligation to buy, transfer journalist Tavolieri reports that this time it is an offer for a permanent transfer
No concrete figures have leaked yet, however, Chérif, who is under contract with Angers until 2028, is unlikely to come cheap.
Rumors are already circulating that the French youngster could command a fee in the region of €20million to join the Hessen club.
It’s still unclear how good Eintracht’s chances are given the report reckons Ligue 1 side Paris FC are pursuing the forward intensively.
Chérif himself is said to prefer a move to Crystal Palace, as playing in the Premier League appeals to the striker.
Italian giants AC Milan are also rumored to be interested in the 19-year-old, so the final decision hasn’t been made yet.
